Freedom Water Filtration System

Wichita Area Technical College International Water and Environmental Research Center developed the Freedom Water Filtration system for treating arsenic and other metals, organic pollutants and pathogenic bacteria contaminated waters. Some Filters are currently in use in Bangladesh.

The water supply system (in our current setting) in Bangladesh consists of one shallow tube well for the wet season and one tube well for dry season. Waters are filtered through the Freedom Water Filter for removing arsenic and other contaminants from water. The cost of this system varies from location to location. However in most of the areas the estimated cost for the installation of the two tube wells =$800.00. The tube wells will last for a long time and the filter itself will last about 15-25 years.

Freedom Water Filter(US07) can supply water to 20-25 family/day, Freedom Water Filter(BD08) can supply water to 45-50 family/day and Freedom Water Filter(BD09) can supply water to 90-95 family/day with a daily requirement of 25 liter of water per family per day.

The cost of the Freedom Water Filter(US07)= $200.00, Freedom Water Filter(BD08)=$275.00 and Freedom Water Filter(BD09)= $375.00.

The team members of the academy are highly educated, knowledgeable, and experienced professionals and managers. They are committed to work with the Govt. agencies, local govt. bodies, school, colleges, Universities and Govt. certified NGOs of Bangladesh and other arsenic affected nations.
